The Flatonia Golf Course is the product of a vision generated by a few for the benefit of the entire community. Over ten years ago, a non-profit group was formed to develop and construct a 9-hole golf course for the community of Flatonia, Texas. The result is today's challenging course weaving through the majestic central Texas oak trees with doglegs among tree-lined fairways to moderate-sized greens that entice all golfers.
The course remains a non-profit operation overseen by an elected Board of Directos and owned by the members of the Flatonia Golf Association (FGA). The FGA is a member of the USGA and has been evaluated for USGA-sanctioned rating and handicapping.
Visitors often describe the course as "the best kept secret around". The course offers a practice driving range, a practice putting green, clubhouse facilities, private golf cart storage, electric golf cart rentals, and a memorable, challenging golf course. We are open to the general public.
