Welcome to Wines of Dotson-Cervantes, home of Gotas de Oro (Drops of Gold) Muscat Canelli first presented in Fall of 2009 and world-class merlot, chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon grapes produced in the Texas Hill Country. The vineyard, owned and operated by Alphonse and Martha Doston, produces grapes for Fall Creek's award- wining wines as well as Dotson-Cervates' own Gotas de Oro.
The vineyard is located in Voca, Texas, northwest of Austin. A labor of love, Alphonse and Martha purchased over 80 acres in 1997 on which the 29 acre vineyard thrives today. Dotson, A former NFL defensive tackle for the Oakland Raiders, and his wife Martha Cervantes work the vineyard tending some of the most-prized grapes in Texas.
The vineyard and wine of Dotson-Cervantes has been featured in Saveur Magazine, Southern Living Magazine, Austin American-Statesman and Chicago Tribune. Dotson-Cervantes wines are available at select Texas retail and restaurant locations including Spec's and Austin Wine Merchant.
