Designed by world renowned Site Design Group with input from a focus group of local skateboard enthusiasts, the 33,000 sq. foot skate park will be the largest hybrid skating facility in the Metroplex. Features include deep bowl skating, plaza skating (Handrails, fun box, vertical ramps, pyramids, banked ramps, stairs) and above ground features for skaters of all ages and abilities. Covered seating areas are provided for spectators.

Prior to the Scion Skate Park opening, this portion of the park received the most pre-opening inquiries of any section. Area skating enthusiasts and businesses were contacted regarding forming a support group for the park. They have been instrumental in promotional assistance and potential sponsor recruitment and recognition.  Scion Skate Park has hosted the annual Skate the RAT Tour as well as other events and tours.
