Navasota Blues Fest

Navasota Blues Alley is a classic jewel in the heart of downtown Navasota, which has been designated the Blues Capital of Texas by the State Legislature.   Visitors from far and wide are delighted to find a local museum there where legendary residents of the Brazos Valley are remembered.   The manager and local historian, Russell Cushman, puts together the exhibits, some from his own vast collection of artifacts and photographs.

Music lovers can take home a piece of history in the form of vintage records and fully restored antique radios.  Shoppers can find an extensive selection of collectible coins, original art, fine hand-made antique furniture, and custom made jewelry.   The Navasota Blues Fest, which puts on the annual blues event every August, offers memorabilia, T-shirts and caps for sale at the shop.
