The Museum of the Big Bend is the Gateway to the Big Bend region of Texas.  Located in the high desert and nestled in the mountains, the Museum of the Big Bend is a wonderful way to orient yourself to this vast and majestic place!  The museum's exhibits "TELL THE STORY" of how the cultures came together through our exhibits and artifacts.  Join us in April for the Annual Trappings of Texas Western Art & Custom Cowboy Gear Exhibit and Sale. Known by many as one of the best parties in the Big Bend - this weekend is full of fun, food, friends and much more.  Additionally, year round Adult Classes, Workshops and Speaking Events fill the calendar.  And for our younger crowds, the museum offers a multitude of Children's Programming. The museum is FREE and open to the public.  Hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 9 to 5 and Sundays from 1 to 5.  Closed on Mondays.  Gift Shop!
