about the nature center: who we are

The Golden-Cheeked Warbler is the icon of the Helotes Creek Nature Center. The preservation of the Helotes Creek area and other riparian areas are what we are all about. Our goal is to help citizens and visitors become more aware of the environment so that they can help us take better care of it.

Mission Statement:

The mission of the Helotes Creek Nature Center is to bring environments and people together under the guidance of citizens and trained professionals to experience and develop relationships for the protection of our natural environment.
