Boerne Skate Park

Boerne Skate Park
524 Adler Street

Features
The Park is approximately 7,500 square feet featuring a plaza style design. The City worked with the local skating community to get their input on what they would like to see in their Skate Park.

What we ended up with was a one of a kind streetscape plaza style park. Hundreds have been visiting the park since the grand opening and we have had great positive feedback.

Purchase & Development
May of 2007 the voters of Boerne approved a Park Improvement Bond for the expansion of the park system within Boerne. December 2008 the City purchased a 38.863 acre tract of land located at Adler St. and Toepperwein Rd to be used as a community park. Plans were developed to add the Skate Park to this location along with restroom facilities, playground, parking lot and sidewalks. A master plan for this new park will be developed in the future.

The Skate Park was designed and built by SPA Skate Parks of Austin. The local skate community was very instrumental in the design of the skate park through their participation in the public design workshops that were held.
