The Irby Art Studio is located at BlueBonnet Art Gallery in DeSoto, Texas, not too far from the hustle and bustle of the Dallas Metroplex. At the Irby Studio with abundant windows to usher in the light, Lovita paints her famous bluebonnet art while mixing in just a touch of green pastures here, a few livestock engulfed in bluebonnets and the occasional rustic looking barn. The walls are also covered with photographs of Lovita Irby (the artist) with celebrities such as Kevin Costner, Harrison Ford, Val Kilmer, Terri Garr, Jimmy Stewart, Terry Bradshaw and others. Along side the multitude of photographcs of movie stars and political figures are also awards for her work and ribbons signifying her expertise at art shows as a judge.
