Take a hike on the unbeaten paths around Lake Abilene.
Join us for a 5-mile hike around Lake Abilene. This hike will be guided by one of the Friends of Abilene State Park. The Friends of Abilene State Park is a group of interested citizens that actively support the park.
Due to the distance this hike is not recommended for small children.
You will need to obtain an entrance permit at the park headquarters. We will meet at the first parking lot by the lake entrance. Please wear comfortable hiking shoes, dress for the weather, and bring plenty of water and snacks.
