The Weatherford Parks and Recreation Department is committed to enriching the quality of life through exceptional programs, parks and facilities while preserving the community’s natural environment for the enjoyment of current and future citizens.
The Weatherford Parks and Recreation Department operates the City’s recreational and athletic programs and maintains 9 City-owned parks including a swimming pool, a cemetery, sports facilities, rental facilities, Chandor Gardens, as well as the Public Market and First Monday Trade Days. The department is responsible for the maintenance of 300 acres of parkland.
