The Russian Cultural Center "Our Texas" is a unique 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to sharing, expanding and promoting Russian cultural awareness for the enrichment of the Texas community. "Our Texas" brings Russian culture to Texas via thrilling live music concerts, symphony performances, art and photography exhibits, documentary film screenings and festivals, theater and dance performances, artistic workshops, and language lessons.
Our mission is to celebrate, share and promote Russian cultural awareness, as well as cultural awareness of the former Soviet Union republics, for the enrichment of our Texas community. Located in the heart of Houston, between West University and the Museum District, our center provides access to diverse cultural events, continuing education, and networking opportunities to the Texas community. Everyone is welcome at our weekly classes, monthly workshops, bimonthly exhibitions, concerts, documentary screenings, biannual song festivals, annual holiday parties and documentary film showcases.
