Cody Rocamontes Memorial Skatepark
1901 West Randol Mill Road

Cody David Rocamontes passed away at age 15 when he was struck by a car on his way to skate his favorite spot behind a retail store. Since the tragic event, the City of Arlington partnered with Cody Rocamontes Inc. (CRI), a local non-profit group created in Cody’s honor, to help provide a safe place for locals to skateboard. On March 12, 2013, the Arlington Parks and Recreation Department hosted the grand opening of the skatepark, at Randol Mill Park.

The Cody Rocamontes Skatepark includes a hipped bank, manual pad with rail, flat bar, and Spohn’s signature “skateable art” pieces – the Curved Taco and Dragon Tail. Phase two of the project will include a mellow ledge, stair set with rail, pole jam, euro gap, kinked hubba, round wall and a Bent Penny.
