Memorial Day Ceremony

This is a patriotic ceremony that is free! Horses Honoring Heroes is a 100% volunteer group. You’ll see the flag folding ceremony with narration describing what each fold represents conducted by American Legion Post 321, Krystin Harris, Miss Devon and the Outlaw along with Dave Browne’s group, will be performing patriotic songs, Colonel Timothy Pertuis will be speaking. The Fallen Soldier will be represented by horse, Hank, being led by Navy Veteran, Wyatt Long, with with black boots turned backwards while Major Steven Silvestor reads a poem from the horse’s perspective. Broken Wheel Veterans Project will read letters from armed service members dating back to the civil war who didn’t make it home. We look forward to seeing you there Ceremony will be held rain or shine, it’s in an indoor arena.
