Join the Texas Hill Country Community for this special tradition started over 50 years ago by President and Mrs. Johnson.
Enjoy carolers, a live nativity, Santa Claus, refreshments, and of course, the spectacular tree lighting.
There will be refreshments and activities near Park Headquarters. Then journey back in time and visit the Sauer-Beckmann Farm at dusk. Experience a lamp-lit tour of the farm decked out for Weinachten and sample traditional German Christmas cookies.
Festivities start at the LBJ State Park Visitor Center at 5:30pm.
The Sauer-Beckmann Farm will close at noon this day and reopen after the tree lighting ceremony.
